Possibly! Christianity is laden with all kinds of rituals/dates that have been leveraged from pagans. Trust Michelangelo to master subtlety once again. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think you’re right actually. I always revert to seeing Michelangelo as using artistic expression to hide truths. Like the Creation of Adam below. Lots of analysis of how God is actually a representation of the human brain.
