Update: After emailing them a complaint, I got the most milquetoast, say-nothing, please-go-away email I have probably ever received in my entire life? Pretty sure they have no idea what happened and that zero prevention has occurred.

Behold: MY CRONE ERA. I found my first white hair in a Turtle's when I was 16 while buying a Metallica album. I thought it was rad. My mom yanked it out in horror. Since then, I've fought the gray, but now I'm embracing it. Part of my unmasking is recognizing that I want to be seen exactly as I am.

Y'all, I have been hoping to get an invite to @armadillocon.bsky.social for years, and it finally happened! I cannot wait! I've never been to Austin, and I love books and armadillos, so I think it's going to be wonderful. Will I see you there?

It will never happen, and there are more important problems, but I would love a revolution in which we adopt a single stable measuring system for clothing so that when I buy the same style of the same jeans from the same company in two colors, one isn't literally a size bigger than the other.
