Travel help: Is it fairly easy to navigate public transport in England? I'm thinking about going to a con in Birmingham and would like to end up in London to maybe do a signing and meet my UK publishing team. Looks like a 3ish hour train. Pretty chill? Safe? Dependable?

I keep seeing fashion influencers suggesting linen sets for easy, breezy, comfy travel, so I bought a balck linen shirt-and-trousers set, and when I put it on I looked like a goth Oompa Loompa and the fabric felt like the crumb-coated sleeve Ritz crackers come in and goddammit.

Any authors I know going to NYCC? I want to suggest some panels! Especially Horror, Fantasy, and IP.

Sometimes I wanna print a shirt that says HI, I'M NOT MEAN; I'M AUTISTIC AT THE GYM SO PLEASE DON'T TRY TO HELP ME OR GET IN MY PERSONAL SPACE, but very people who keep killing the vibe would stop and spend two minutes staring at my chest to read the shirt and then ask me more questions about it.

Does everyone have all the prices of their regular groceries memorized and walk around Publix angry at how much higher the prices are? I go there for prescriptions and shop to save a trip, but DANG. The meats are $$$. My gf frozen tenders are $10.79, whereas they're $7.49 at Target for the same bag.
