Alone (the survival TV show) statistics: 1: Each season is very different

2: Canadians do noticeably better than Americans (Only 4 contestants were not from the US or Canada -- one was Mexican, and he did extremely well, so Other looks pretty good)

3: Very slight correlation between your home latitude and days survived (I thought maybe people from warm places wouldn't do well in cold weather)

4: People with an outdoors-related job actually survive *fewer* days compared to those who do not (31 vs 40)

No women have ever won, but that's likely just because 80% of the contestants are men. If they got more women on the show, one would probably win. Anything else you'd like to know?
