Origins 2024 haul

Had a great Origins2024! Got to play 15 new games and bought some more. Feeling revitalized and game-pilled. Excited to get home and get back to work on Delta Green and Red Markets!

I'll vote harm reduction - as I've been forced every election in my life. When does that responsibility fall on the Dem. party? Throwing away Michigan, again?! Worse than 2016? Losing 40K votes in WI when they won by 20k last time? When do the politicians get the "politics of the possible" line?

Shopping for clothes is miserable in such a uniquely powerful way. The difference between actual suffering experienced and psychic pain is the greatest ROI on suck I know. I've felt worse, of course, but always for more justifiable reasons than being forced to walk around a Kohls.

Here's a take I'm ready to see die. I can only describe it as "PODCAST BAD." There's a million variations: podcasting should be against the law, a flock of white men is called a podcast, podcasting is not a substitute for therapy, etc. I'm not offended or anything. It's just tired? And silly.

Nearly a decade of my life arrived in the mail today. I started writing God’s Teeth in 2015. It is absolutely uncanny to have a physical copy in my house. Like waking up one day to find your sleep paralysis demon cooking breakfast. I can’t shake the feeling it will turn to sand if I open it.
