Today was the second day in a row that was absolutely cursed for me so I’m very apprehensive about where it’s all leading. I just want to listen to jams and vibe but the universe is trying to tell me something bad is coming for me.

I’m not a religious person but I’m pretty spiritual. I believe in souls. I believe the universe led me to Asher despite the odds and my obliviousness. I believe forces in the universe both saved me from dying of brain aneurysms, gave me a support system for it, but also felt I needed to pay a price.

I keep trying to think of a clever way to transition from Britney’s Break the Ice to Timbaland’s The Way I Are and so far, despite trying different things in 3 practice sessions, it has eluded me. Perhaps I need something else to go with Britney. It is just so distinct and loopable.

New computer managed to record the audio, screen, and webcam capture all by itself for about an hour and only got like, a little bit hot? So at least the money was not errantly spent

I made different mistakes on this recording attempt that might actually be more egregious than the ones I made the first time and I don’t care anymore this is what the people getting and they will not notice probably? Even though I am literally showing my mistakes lol

JK I recorded it all AGAIN and I almost got everything correct, far smaller mistakes, so I am declaring that I have finished the first half of the set!! Now, gotta start really prepping the second half…

Hopefully getting new computer today! Which I desperately need I’m trying to really execute against the goal of becoming a DJ. This weekend I hope to: 1. Set up new computer + test if I can make a better-quality video for my wedding. Record 1st half again if so 2. Make more social accounts/website

After my wedding my hope is to put out a lot more mixes! I have so many ideas but it’s kinda important I don’t mess up my own wedding too badly 😓

Oh yeah. Setting up a new computer is one of my most hated tasks… having so much fun…

I remember having a terrible time getting the Music app to recognize and retain all the data from my song files and I appear to perhaps be running into this again… or maybe it just randomly failed the transfer cuz technology sucks. Lessee.

Setting up just the DJ profile, okay, I’m not particularly scared. Setting up my personal/podcast profile later? Dread. Immense dread.

They make this so difficult, but like 97% of my music is in the library properly on the new computer. I’ll have to investigate and restore the others when I wake up…

Spent all day setting up this computer (only a mild exaggeration) and now I am just praying updating the OS doesn’t make it all for naught 😓 (it SHOULDN’T but I trust nothing)

I love this for you. I’ve been reading manga since I was like… 12 so I guess I take things for granted! I also way love shojo manga more than the anime or live-action adaptations usually.
