I keep trying to think of a clever way to transition from Britney’s Break the Ice to Timbaland’s The Way I Are and so far, despite trying different things in 3 practice sessions, it has eluded me. Perhaps I need something else to go with Britney. It is just so distinct and loopable.

The real question is if I can assure myself that having one computer for DJing AND podcasting AND personal use is going to be alright. I want to keep my personal and DJ music libraries separate is actually my biggest problem in this scenario, maybe?

Bought a new (used) computer. Excited that DJing and making videos should be easier. But extremely sad for my wallet.

I spent 5 hours on Saturday trying to film the first half of my DJ set for my wedding and mostly what I learned is that I should think of a different video idea than having me on camera. Might wind up filming just the decks/my hands manipulating them instead. Mix it in with some funny loopables.

Had a dream that my house had 3 more rooms in it that we’d been ignoring for renovation reasons but 1 of them had a built-in DJ booth and was designed to hold house raves.
