FWIW Those aren’t misaligned screws they’re pots (potentiometers)

Analogue circuits had this sort of thing, digital has eliminated most of these.

Yes, I was going to make a joke about calibrating them, but I guess it's possible they needed to be set differently depending on what the circuit is doing.

If memory serves the pots would typically be set to tune all the channels to give the same response and these adjustments were to fine tune out any variances in the other components. I’m not an EE though.

So they were the calibration device. Interesting.

Yes! This was broadcast equipment, we would have adjusted these to maintain constant levels in the station.
