A few more Tiny Bees. The first I think is a Bicolored Sweat Bee (Agapostemon virescens), yet again on a monarda. The second and third might be small carpenter bees, genus Ceratina? The fourth is extremely tiny! In person this bee was hard to see with my naked eye but it is indeed a tiny bee.

I am very very tired today, and the first day of a month long boss-replacing has already proved hectic. There is A Lot happening on my feed here and i'm completely lost on what happened or why. All i know is it's really a lot and i'm really tired. So i'll continue with art and nodding and smiling.

We've all seen the meme recommending we "touch grass." The grass in the left photo is at a surface temperature of 109F/43C. You don't want to touch that. The woodland pasture on the right with a large blue ash had a surface temperature of 78F/25.6C at the same air temperature. Make your choice!

This tiny wasp I found in my flowering parsley. It might be a Wild Carrot Wasp (Gasteruption assectator?) though I'm definitely not certain! Seeing it with the naked eye was a bit like watching some stray hair floating around in the air. There are so many fascinating, harmless tiny wasps out there!

Continuing with extremely cute & perfect moths- the Snowberry Clearwing (Hemaris diffinis)! These are a bit smaller, and tend to be faster and more shy about photos. The flowers seen are Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa). I cannot recommend monardas enough if you are in their native range.
