I'm seeing mutuals I respect greatly lamenting that Branding Online has denied them personhood, too. Like, they can't be silly and informative both on their feeds because one will detract from the other. People won't like them if they contain multitudes.
And that's . . . really sad.
And it's just blatantly untrue. Every successful artist/writer I follow is a whole person on their SM. If they're not, it might as well be a bot account.
