While I always like to think myself above being delighted by references in fiction, I've hit the Sophie Campbell-written portion of the IDW TMNT comics and I'm slapping my flippers together like a seal whenever I see a Palladium reference

I know it's a deeply silly book, but all the Amalgam talk has reminded me of the affection I've held for the bad-girl comics pastiche ASSASSINS since 1996. Casually mentioning in a cap that not only did their Bullseye get aced on page 1, but that it was a mere laff on the way to *murder the mayor*

I really love the bit from Jordan Blilie Pets the Wild Horse's Mane that goes "today I, I, I mailed a brick through your window"

Well that's nice: Moon Knight crushed at the 2023 r/Marvel awards (we also got Best Ending, Best Single Issue and Best Ongoing Series)
