Admittedly have not had a lot of time to read manga lately between wedding planning and escalating job responsibilities. But here’s what’s cooking: 1. Second half Hot Gimmick episode in the next week or two! Obvious one 2. Planning 2 episodes about Snow White with the Red Hair 3. Same with Mars

Was honestly shocked to reread this series over a decade after I had first read it and feel that I understood it more and wasn’t just aggressively mad at it and every character in it. Was totally prepared to have nothing nice to say and yet here we are.

👀 Guess I know what I'm listening to later. I remember being 18 reading Hot Gimmick at the public library and undergoing a whirlwind of emotions.

Love the enamel pins on my denim jackets until that like one time a year I decide to wash the jackets and have to take all the pins off/reattach them, then I’m like, what torture have I brought upon myself? Anyway… anime and hockey, mostly.

Latest episode is up! A short one about a couple of short works by Clamp: the Ashes discuss Miyuki-Chan in Wonderland and The One I Love. The conclusion is… Miyuki-chan is not for us. And The One I Love seems weirdly gender essentialist.

Got a shoutout in here! Largely agree with this review. I trust A Condition Called Love to stick the landing because it’s from the Wake Up, Sleeping Beauty creator, and she proved herself to be a deft storyteller. We’re gonna go on a journey with Hananoi’s behavior and it will be okay.
