North Carolina's anti-mask bill just passed the House. It will now go to the Governor.
This is a horrible bill that narrows the health exemption for wearing a mask, and makes it easier for cops and anti-maskers to harass people into taking off their mask.

Important: If you are in North Carolina, please keep wearing your mask!
The bill has not been signed into law yet. And while the language makes it easier for cops to abuse it, the bill does keep the right to mask to stop the spread of contagious disease.
The narrowing of the health exemption and the broadening of language permitting unmasking demands is intended to have a chilling effect and scare people into not wearing masks.
This is a common right wing tactic. It is critical to resist and affirm your right to wear a mask.
North Carolina's anti-mask bill will now go to the Governor, who is a Democrat. However, because Republicans have supermajorities in both houses, they can override any veto by the Governor.
Even though the Republicans may override it, it's still important for Governor Roy Cooper to veto the anti-mask bill, and that he hears that a lot of people are against the bill.
You can call Governor Roy Cooper's office at (919) 814-2000.
It is, but the ADA does little to fuck all to actually protect us with how it was written :')
At best, it can be used to sue for violations in this situation. But that would also require someone with money to do it, and that'll also risk it landing before SCOTUS. Which is shit republicans have-
💜❤️💜 I'm hopefully *something* will break eventually for the better, but.
It's terrifying tho think of what it'd take to get to that point, if it ever happens ;__;
They can't allow maskers to maintain their physical health advantage against them. If they can't force us into compliance socially, they will do it by force. They are trying to cover up their weakness against peer pressure by criminalizing those immune to it. Also, they don't care if you die.
