Visited a farm place today and got to cuddle a pony, horse, bunnies, and sheep, including this sweet little lamb!

This summer I've loved having random wildflowers on my window sill. They last surprisingly well. Clustered bellflower, meadowsweet, daisy. Not sure if it's an actual daisy or a lookalike.

Sunday walk. A field of peace, a river of solace.

Watch out for baby birds crossing a road when driving, please.

Finally visited this cool hare statue during a little summer road trip. I had expected it to be huge, but it's just 1,5 metres tall and that's mostly ears.

Peonies! At the park the other day.

Went to check on my favourite park. It was still there.

While mowing the grass today, the window cat (cat who sat on my window sill another day) suddenly ran through the garden, but wouldn't stop for a hello. It must take this shortcut more than I know.
Someone's cat was sitting on my window sill today! I've seen it in the neighbourhood but never this close.

Found some baby geese today. There were three families of Canada geese, having a very chill day by the lake. #birds

Visited a beach today. Lovely scenery although the swans were fake.

Happy Pride Month! Saw this double rainbow just yesterday.

Last chance. :) Fill in *any* favourite story from last year and give it a vote. P.S. My story, "Quantum Love" is a prefilled option under Best Short Story so that's cool too, thanks Locus!
April 15 is your deadline for Locus Awards voting! Go tell us your favorites of the year at the Poll & Survey at... poll.voting.locusmag... #sff #books

Trying to get my writing momentum going again. Just me, a keyboard, and a squishy human brain.

The birds are migrating back. I've seen a few gulls, ducks, and swans from the distance, and today a sweet little robin in the garden. :)

I’m excited to announce the first foreign translation of my short fiction. 😊 “The Bones and Their Girl” has been translated into German and appears as "Die Knochen und ihr Mädchen" on Phantastikon in text & audio. phantastikon.de/die-knochen-...

This is such a gorgeous story & at the very least you should give it a read. Time travel, a love story, and nostalgia all in one.

What I love about the Locus Awards is that *anyone* can vote for *anything*. No membership or similar required and you can fill in your favourites. And if so inclined, kindly note that my "Quantum Love" is a prefilled option under Best Short Story. Thanks!
