I was cracking up at the movie, paused, and got a text from my mother saying there was a very bad car accident at the tollway exit near them. Several vehicles. Fatalities. Horrible. Gosh. I wish I had Kahlua or Bailey's or something. Okay.

My Bird of the Day today is one I’ve been very lucky to have many sightings of. A large raptor specialized in fishing and diving at incredible speeds the Osprey truly is a marvel of adaptation. They’re not however excellent neighbors unless you wake up very early. 🪶

We have some rain and rumbling now. The important thing is that I saved my German grammar book from being (more) leaked on by the roof. Leak where I put the towels, roof! Stop getting ideas!

Nothing too much is happening at my place right now, but it does look like a whole bunch of rain and wind is headed this way.

Still raining and lightning, so I didn't actually open the storm door, but another little inch-diameter branch is on my deck. Guess I'll have to go out when it's light, make sure nothing large came down somewhere inconvenient. My cat seriously thought it might be Outside Time. Sure, Momo.

Yeah, I think we got a good dose of rain & wind! I should see if any bits of trees fell on my deck again. I still hear some thunder in the distance, but it seems pretty calm by me now.

I've been sitting on the floor massaging my legs just lateral to my shins, and, y'all, the variety of moans and groans that have escaped me... 😂😂😂. I don't know how that area can be so tight and sore, but trying to fix it has pretty funny results. (I think I need ibuprofen.)
