You really need to ask why the Black people you think are nonchalant about the fascism you're panicked about are nonchalant. It's because we've been bearing it way heavier than everybody else for centuries & know how to handle it. Too bad you'd rather accuse us than get on board. We're surviving.
All this panic is very much the flip side of how, prior to the debate, white liberals were giving smug lectures about lesser evilism that boiled down to "...but I'll be ok."
Keeping Trump out of the White House isn’t the only thing that needs doing and it isn’t enough to solve all problems facing the country & world but if it isn’t done then all those problems get exponentially worse in ways I don’t even know how to express and it scares me when people pretend otherwise
