I have a book I bet you've seen about the strangest supervillains in comic history that came from LootCrate one month
called the legion of regrettable supervillains
I would live to see @jamesgunn.bsky.social direct a live action Constantine movie with a story board that incorporates main DC characters such as supermen, Batman etc
It's definitely been great for projects like The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, Doom Patrol & Harley Quinn to play around with many of the lesser-known characters. The Berlanti shows have been willing to do that with Stargirl & other ensembles; it adds complexity & imaginativeness.
I'm going to have to see about getting a copy. I used to have the entire DC Who's Who original run and the '87 and '88 updates, and loved the entries for the more obscure characters. That's where I learned of G.I. Robot and the Creature Commandos. Has Angle Man popped back up since Crisis?
This should be a weekly or even monthly book with stories of heroes across the DCU, written by all different kinds of writers and different stories. It would be a great way to give more unsung heroes some shine.
