Went to visit my Mom today, and met her new dog, Logan (her previous dog passed a few months ago) He is probably the friendliest chihuahua I've ever met...and he has a fluffy tail! #DogsofBlueSky #dogs

Sleep study results are in! (And damn, they were fast!) I do not have sleep apnea with less than two incidents per hour, and my blood oxygen levels remaining fairly stable. But she did recommend a wedge or sleep shirt so I sleep on my side, as I snore more on my back.

My sunflowers are blooming!

Former street cat Buddy, working hard at transitioning to an indoor cat :) He spends the nights inside, but does still want out during the day. But he's coming in for longer stretches, and now that his butt is mostly cleared up, we can focus on getting him inside for good before winter.

A little tree I made for my son. He asked specifically for purple stones (amethyst), silver wire, and loved the ones I'm making in planters. So I made one just for him :)

Funny how I barely slept for a 'home sleep study.' Gonna need a nap.

Hey, remember how librarians and I were warning everyone that mass book-banning is just step one of a fascist government takeover? Well, some of the same book-banning orgs we warned you about are on the advisory board for Project 2025, whose leader calls it a "second American Revolution.”

I had a bag of small sections of birch branch. I realized it would be perfect for sticking one of the trees into it. I'd bought the bag of branch bits to carve, but I like this so much more.

This is the actual little tree I made this morning. It is seated in a tiny jar filled with the same beads as are on the ends of the branches, with resin holding it in place.

My first Tree of Life pendant. Kinda want to make a larger one on a wood frame now.

This morning's quiet is so soothing after all of the loud booms last night.
