I had this version and I loved it so much I used to read it at my friends. It’s in my dad’s boxed up books somewhere and I need to get at it.

That's the one. I wish I could get it reprinted.

Shocked it isn't in print.

It took me an enormous amount of work to get 13 Clocks into print in the US, and I did, but they used the original US illustrated version.

That NYRB edition is a lovely little volume. Thank you for getting it back into print!

THE WHITE DEER was always my favorite, but it seems to be somewhere around number 3 on everyone else's list of Thurber fantasies.

Thank you for doing this! It's an amazing book. My mom gave a copy to my dad for their first Valentine's day, and I did the same for my first Valentine's Day with my now-wife, which happened to be 5 days after our first date.

Do you have this? The compiler told me it was a nightmare to transcribe because Molesworth and autocorrect do not get on. (no Searle inside sadly)

Oh no, that's a new one to me. I've got all the ones from the 50s that I suspect were my grandfather's and have passed down to me via my mother (along with 1066 And All That, which paired with Molesworth explains a lot about my sense of humour)
