Over 6 months ago At my GP referred me to a hospital department. Got a call this week from an agency on behalf of the hospital asking if I still needed the appointment or if they could take my name of the list. What a shit state of affairs, are they just waiting for people to die or go private?

Good news this morning, that a 10 min MRI scan can detect prostate cancer better than PSA tests. My Dad (and several male relatives) died of this and, having two sons, I’m desperate for a screening programme.
But I just don’t believe this govt would ever pay for it.
