I saw a Reddit post arguing you should add 2 points to any IMDB score for a horror movie to get the movie's real rating & I have yet to find an example where this doesn't work. Case in point: It Follows, 6.8 (8.8), The Witch, 7 (9), Shadow of the Vampire, 6.9 (8.9), The Thing, 8.2 (10.2). See?

AHEM Story day! First time I'm in khōréō! With a novelette! Feng, a hapless research assistant, on trip to a nature reserve to study a dead dragon with her professor and a park ranger - but everybody has dark secrets from the war with dragons and the mysterious Dragonsworn.
Feng, once indentured to the university in return for her studies, accompanies the Professor who bought her debt to the mountains. There, they expect to find a rare and tragic treasure: a dead dragon. "Dragonsworn" by L Chan is the first novelette that khōréō has published!
