That used to be my fast food go-to if I wanted a lot for a little, and now it’s just cheaper to go to QuikTrip and get a better sandwich for like a third of the price
I went to mockup an order just to test this, and not only were you spot on, but then apparently they offer what I hope to be an entire goddamned wheel of cheese as an optional add on:
I got a 6 in ham I added avocado because I love avocado and I did the 50% more thing even though I don't know what the fuck it means exactly. Then I added a $2.99 churro. For all that it was $19.50 something like that. Everything turned out good but it's not sustainable. I cant afford it.
I didn’t even do any extras in my mockup - a 6” roast beef with free toppings, no sides and no drink. With the delivery fee, service fee, and a modest tip it would’ve been $16.98. It’s madness!
I did the add-ons because I originally wanted a footlong and I figured if I added more to it I would be more full and I am pretty good right now but it really didn't come out to much less.
The driver should make more money and doordash should make a lot less profit on sale prices. Feels like it's 100% profit for them or more. And the funny thing is they've never actually made a true profit as a company. Where are the fees going?! Not to drivers.
How much does the driver get because I could see that if it was all for the driver. Doordash and Uber and all those companies should get like ten cents. You could do all the gig work for most functions with a public network that was tied to the DMV and criminal records and shit.
