There are two elements to the immunity decision that are particularly extreme in a way that many will miss: (1) motive is irrelevant and (2) immune acts are not just excluded from prosecution, they’re excluded from evidence.

From this day forward, all the discussion about replacing Biden needs to stop as it is, literally, yesterday's news. The new question is: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Which new and mighty "official act" executive powers has Joe Biden used TODAY to stop Mango Hitler ll and bring the corrupt SCOTUS 6 to heel?
Someone suggested elsewhere that he should order the IRS to release Trump's tax returns and those of anyone and everyone associated with him. Personally I think that would be a good move because then the campaign can follow up with, "Do you see now the danger we face if Trump wins?"
This is one of the better ones - since it's fully within the executive purview. Unlike things like changing laws or writing off all student debt (since those involve organisations he isn't in charge of)
With the 5 min speech our Pres, not a King, gave last night; he refuses to use the new powers that have been annointed on him and will abide by the rule of law he was elected under. This, I fear, will result in only the fact that this is Act 1 of a modern Shakespearean tragedy. I still respect him.
As defeated & pissed as I am, I remain more fired up than ever to ensure Trump loses. This ruling hopefully fires up more people to the dangers of his next (and America's last) presidency.
Here's hoping the window-licking fence-sitters see this ruling as overstepping, scaring them to vote Biden.
