Well, I just checked that site, and it certainly has the fact that I voted in New York in every general election since 2004. (Interestingly, they don't have California's records, so there's a break in my voting record when I was living out there for a year.)

I'm going to toss this into the ether. The Heritage Foundation president was emboldened it make his overt threat of bloodshed in part because between the Democratic schism over the debate and the SCOTUS decision on Monday he believes there's no stopping them now.

WE MUST BUILD GRASSROOTS POWER IN SOLIDARITY ACROSS COALITIONS

I will admit I have not read the opinion yet, but to those who have: Does the court provide *any* meaningful guidance on how a district court could/should go about determining whether something is an official act? Does it require evidence or is it a matter of law? TIA for any insights.

I wonder if today is what the day Plessy v. Ferguson would have looked like if social media existed then.

THE sentence of the day: A Macronist incumbent in the Marseille region came in 3rd in her seat. She just dropped out to support the left. She said, about why she's maneuvering to block the far-right: "Defeats happen, but you can never recover from dishonor."

I no longer care about any "reason" anyone offers up for failing to use their right to stop Trump. Gaza, student loans, Biden's age, not being reached out to, etc. If you stay home, if you vote third party, if you flood your social media with b.s. you are complicit in the end of American democracy.
