I know this site is quieter than the bad birdx one, but oh my gods... isn't that nice in a way? Like it is just so much more peaceful here. You can just like your friends art and check out what people have been up to without seeing some Neonazi screed in every comment section. Lovely.

Folks, I'm hearing that the Kids Online Safety Act is back on the agenda. The Senate is holding a hearing with tech CEOs tomorrow, in an effort to get this bill on the Senate floor. Time to give your Senators another call and tell them this bill would silence LGBTQIA+ people online.

Today I managed to reach a real live human being at Senator Butler's office to register my concerns about KOSA. I went through my concerns that this bill would be used by red state AGs to silence queer people online. But then I did something that seemed to make an impression.
