I'm unwilling to discuss my fish situation because it is bougie and absurd and I'm a little bit ashamed , but also I can afford it and it's ethical and shouldn't people who can afford to be ethical pay for it?

That's why I shop at the unionized grocery store. If you can afford ethical, it behooves you to do so. Your alright!

Well I live in NYC so shopping at the unionized grocery store mostly means avoiding the national chains that cost more so... it's a win win. It's either local 342 or local 1500. the health food store is not unionized but I only go there for the good cottage cheese.
