"Hamilton is one of 2 state House candidates who filed to run as a Dem this year despite recent political activity & donations that reveal ties to the GOP. In both cases, the candidates are running in GOP-leaning districts with GOP incumbents up for re-election." -- Uh, yes, I've been saying this.

Perhaps candidates should have to have the approval of a local Democratic Party organization that will thoroughly vet the candidate. The candidate will then receive a seal of approval from the local Democratic Party or can't run affiliated with the Democratic party.

That’s exactly what I’ve been saying. It’s not “Vote Blue no Matter Who” because of the Sinenas, Manchin and Kennedys in sheep’s clothing. Become engaged and educated about the candidates you are voting for. There are many great websites like VoteSmart.org
Vote Smart | Facts For Allvotesmart.org Vote Smart provides free, unbiased, in-depth information about current officials, candidates, issues, legislation, and voting. Non-partisan and nonprofit since 1988.

Perhaps this is the website we must share with others. We must do better rather than be angry and disappointed when a candidate lies about who they are.

Many local newspapers provide voting guides with background data about candidates. Don't have to agree with them, but the information about lets say a candidate running twice before as a GOP and losing and then switching to Dem, that's helpful. :) www.wweek.com/news/2024/05...

At times I wonder if the Democratic Party's biggest issue is themselves. They seem unprepared. With false candidates, this should be an easy fix. Vet the candidate, require a background check. Spread the seal of approval.

This is for the primary. That's a lot of $/time which again, would benefit Republicans?

Some of this information seems to be easily found. Can't have the continued fraud of they party they represent. Obviously, they have no issues lying and the flipping.
