The @thehouseofbob.org discord has been discussing these because they're brilliant. So far we've decided:
1) The Knuckle wand lets the wizard punch people with Mage Hand, or make a melee attack using their spell attack bonus to hit and damage.
2) The nail wand converts all damage to piercing.
...
3) The butterfly wand has three spells, but to swap between them you have to roll something (Arcana?), and if you fail it cuts your hand or backfires.
4) The sawed-off shortwand converts every single-target spell into a ten foot cone.
