When I saw Coraline in 3D I came out of the theatre ENERGIZED, because it was the first use of 3D I'd ever seen that was symbolic and narrative-inspired, rather than merely realistic. I couldn't wait to see what movies would do with 3D next!! Then I never saw anything else that came close

Coraline the movie is 15 years old today! And to celebrate, Laika are rereleasing it, remastered, and in the original 3D, this coming August. I feel like a proud grandfather. Also, I have still never seen a better use of 3D than Coraline. Did you see it when it first came out?
