My understanding of that movie is that if you turned the internet off, there would be a whole lot more repercussions for people and the world, because so much was tied into it, and even now... We might have some issues.
I hated that idea so much because they chose the days I'm always off of course. Then I thought about all the same people who would have that issue no matter what days they picked. Imagine looking forward to playing your favorite online game on your day off finally but can't cause they did this lmao
