The Gardner Museum is indeed great but kind of PITA to get if the Sox are playing and/or the Green Line is having issues. I like the Peabody Museum at Harvard for old school exhibits. Or hang out in Cambridge...

Is your niece a teen or tween? Head to the Garment District for cool relative status and roam Inman Sq. Christina's for ice cream, or Toscanini's.

Oh they live up here. We’re just flying in for the day because I wanted to see this show and we could never make our schedules work during the run to come for the whole weekend.

Technically we could have come for this whole weekend but with the holiday it would have cost $600 more for flights for my husband and I if than it did just to fly up and back on this slower travel day

We are going to only have 90 minutes to two hours to kill by the time we get to Cambridge so wandering around Harvard stuff is it for this trip.

The Peabody Museum at Hrvrd is cool altho also super cursed
