It's England - we shouldn't have these temperatures, only a few days of lukewarm rays then cloud and drizzle

HVAC nerd here…get a mini-split. Relatively cheap and easy to install, and probably the perfect use case for a place with (usually) mild to cold climate.

Can't really install something permanent where I am currently :( We are prisoners of our overly well insulated, air conditionerless houses here
