100 OC Challenge - Bolero This one was my first Pokemon OC. :3c He's no-longer one, but he's still a fire-elemental werebeast! He's a bit of a hothead and he probably got his magic a bit too young... I'm still unsure what his Big Story will be but he is adventurous MC material. :p #oc #art

Several of my old characters started off as either Pokemon Gijinkas or I gave them an AU version as a Trainer in DA groups, buuut I've long since redesigned them to be fully original. But here are some drawings of my characters in their lil' Pokemon AUs with some Pokemon friends. :) #art #oc

Oh, I'm done already with the 2011 art edit? Alrighty. xD Luckily I realized my grainy brush does a pretty good mimicry of the old brush when I set the size to 1px. Suddenly replicating the old grainy look was a lot easier and faster! Also adding a newer chibi ref for comparison. :U

I'm bored and don't feel like working on anything important so decided to edit a 10+ year old drawing to have the character's current design while also keeping the messy lineart and colour. And man, it's hard to make such crusty lines in Sai. xDD Artweaver sure was a program. < New - Old >

100 OC Challenge - Smile This one was a Pokemon OC but I'm re-writing him in my Sci-Fi setting. Man, it's hard to turn a therapy animal into an humanlike person without making it weird/creepy! :D He's a therapist but his client, Aran, hates aliens so has to act as if he's a tiny android. #oc #art

100 OC Challenge - Dria One more ancient OC who was missing from the thread-- Dria has changed a lot but she's still very Sci-Fantasy. :D She runs a non-profit that fulfils the dreams of people all across the multiverse! If you live in a world she can access, she might just show up. :) #oc #art

100 OC Challenge - Nite Another super old OC! As you can tell by the marker art. xD She's a BJD OC but I want to re-shell her. :') We'll see if I'll ever find one I like. She's a skilled enchanter and magically understands speech no matter the language! She saved Zesil's life too. #oc #art

Ah, building family trees for OCs... So much fun! Ilka is a fun example of this as I know his family tree back several generations in both directions. His great-great-grandpa is still around as undead and helps whenever he can! Ilka himself adopts a kid too in his story. :) #art #oc

Hehe, thank you. :3c Yeah, I need to focus on smaller projects before I tackle those two's story since it would be an RPG. 😂 But big same. There's something so fun about a vaguely humanoid, but not quite humanoid features like masks. xD Lir is so much fun to draw since anatomy doesn't matter. :-D

... You know, has there ever been an art train for this? I very rarely draw characters kissing on the mouth. Maybe I'm too Aro/Ace to get it. 😂 I'm more into drawing hugs and cuddles. + A first kiss would be spoilers for the story! But here you go, some rarities from my collection. #art #oc

100 OC Challenge - Fali & Zesil More old art for the challenge feed. :U Zesil was a monster hunter who was killed in a work accident but brought back with magic. He was sent to Earth with a mission. A reverse-isekai? I guess. And Fali is a mystery. :) Surely nothing can go wrong? #oc #art

100 OC Challenge - Vincente & Jill I realized I never intro'd the first couple of characters on Bluesky (Since I drew them in 2021) so my Feed is INCOMPLETE. x'D Vince is my oldest character who hasn't gone through a complete rewrite. And Jill is the second oldest! They're BJD OCs. :) #oc #art

OC-Training: Elri (2021) Prompt 1: Guess Who Elri's story started from a one-off short story in 2014 where Tai was the main character. Elri and Almud were just names. In 2017 I had a literal shower thought which made me write it from another PoV... and now it's growing into a novel! #oc #art

So the black marker has matured into a dark green which I don't think is appropriate for Cole's suit. XD And most of the blue markers are REALLY dark. so I made a new sketch of a character who could make use of them! Though I forgot I don't have a dark gray for his face. :-D #art #oc #elf

A fun convo. 😂 I feel I might have a little bit of this but ONLY in digital. It feels natural first doing a circle counter-clockwise and then continuing it down to the jaw when the chara faces left. Meanwhile my traditional sketchbook is like... #oc #art #sketch

I just realized that every single attack so far is "character facing left" I'd feel sorry but it's just the best way to draw something, I don't make the rules.

I found some probably-even-older and barely used markers that also aren't dry. O: Prolly will be good for colouring larger areas. Also snacks. Very healthy. And match the markers. :)

Time to head out for a couple of days. I prolly won't do much until I get back because mobile-only. :U Might do some traditional doodling. Grabbed my 15-year-old Stabilos and somehow they haven't dried up. Guess I might try drawing with them. :)
