Came back from Canada to a true abundance of bookmail! Some I’d ordered myself and some wonderful review copies from publishers. My July reading is all set! What looks good to you?

I am excited about this tomorrow night because it is a joy to talk books with friends and colleagues and to mark the passing of the years. But more importantly, I am excited to share an evening with dear friends in my home, the greatest gift of all.

Inside Out 2 if it was filmed in my head

People find this drink more frequently than any other in the last year, months after release, and that makes me so happy. It's a personal fave and THE DEAD TAKE THE A TRAIN is SUCH a fun fun book. If you want some summer seaweed with a bit of extra viscera, might I recommend:
