Oh this is great :). My only complaint (which isn't really a complaint, just an "I wish") is "more gay" lol. Fingers crossed for the new series. (Have you read Mike Brooks' Godking books? Like Beaulieu, a modern take on trad epic fantasy done very well but super super queer)

I know. There was some, but I'm always hungry for more. Fingers crossed for this one, & I never say no to dragons! I have not. I own book one, but it didn't quite click for me when I started 2 years ago. Still waiting for the right moment, I guess. Have you read Jenn Lyons' A CHORUS OF DRAGONS?

Read the 1st book, then realised it was the sort of thing I'd completely forget what happened if I read each book then waited for the next to release, so I have five lovely hardcover editions sitting on my shelf and have yet to read the last 4. One of my (southern hemisphere) summer reading projects

I've covered all five. And they're great to read back to back to back (I did a reread of the first four when the last one came out). Very quick pacing, the sort of thing to keep you up well into the night, realizing it's 2AM & if you don't stop now, you'll crest the roller coaster & be up all night.
