Shame on them.
American independence was declared—and won—by people who gave a damn. And worked for what they won.
Someone elsewhere here on bluesky said he actually DID vote and it was easy to find in voter information databases. I wouldn't be shocked. It would seem to align - discouraging voting aligning with those who would suppress voters.
Voting may not be sufficient, but it is necessary. Common sense.
