The move is nearly finished! After I moved maybe 10 car loads of stuff, the truck got the big furniture, a lock smith, cleaners, a handyman and soon a central heating guy have visited. I'm waiting on rugs (its original hard wood or stone floors) & a recliner, but this is starting to feel like home.

Notes for next move: take a whole week off before the move to allow Fibro-reduced-stamina packing time and rest before move day. My autism will only tolerate boxes & shit everywhere for as long as it takes to unpack, so if Fibro demands rest: get mum to help unpack again! Watch Dr Who to recharge!

Needing to do things for mental issue reasons and not being able to because of fibro reasons is pain. "Do I deal with the stress... or do I accept being exhausted and in pain?"

Yeah, sucks big time. Long covid taught me how to 'not see' mess and clutter because its yuck and I don't like it and when fatigue and pain hit, there's little I can do about it.

I introduced a few small things, like washing up an item or two whilst cooking but it's generally difficult to manage

Moving home is extremely taxing, both physically and mentally, even without physical barriers in the way! Hope you're happy in your new home, Elise.

Thanks Alexandra. Once we get the central heating fixed and a few ordered items for the place in, it should be nice and cosy.
