When I was a kid, there was this grimdark fantasy game for the ps2 called Drakengard, and the giant red dragon was so badass. I fell in love with one of her voice clips that went "Wise men choose death before war. Wiser men choose...not to be born." Like it was the absolute realest shit.

Yeah, but if you follow the chain of causation all the way back, you can see it is caused by ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
