How does a typo like this make it into print? In the second sentence of a paperback edition by a well-known author no less. #copyediting #manhattan #nyc

I've caught some embarrassing typos after publication, for which I take responsibility as I read the thing dozens of times, but also...other people read the work with presumably fresh eyes.
