That's kind of the cool part about human society being entirely made up is the fact that We can completely control that. We made up the game... we control the rules... We is a species have a shared objective. We make up all these rules so that only fall into one of two groups winner or loser

And then we fight over who gets to be in the loser bucket of the rules... We don't have to have a loser bucket at all... But instead.. we sacrifice one group for the advancement of another, a CHOICE that we make.
