It’s about figgin time! Was wondering if our Chicago Hardy would survive and it did. Last years growth didn’t winter but it’s springing back into action. 🌿🌱#permaculture
Last year it was about 7foot tall. We harvested quite a few figs. The rain overflow really helped it. Seemed to thrive and strangely enough has reduced the water that leaked into our 100+ yo basement. The house shelters it from the weather. I’m going to line that whole side with them.
