Will no one say out loud that major media loved the Trump presidency for what it did for their profits? If any of them are inexplicably biased in coverage towards it it’s for purely selfish, craven reasons.

Exactly. I was at MarketWatch/Dow Jones during Trump Presidency. It was a non-stop firehose of news, no regular schedule, no ability to predict coverage and traffic went through the roof.
