It’s so cool that cities are like “pweeease only turn your AC on if you’re actively dying and don’t go below 79 🥺🤘🏻💗” while the AI nobody asked for is slurping up the power grid to make 1 image of a girl with 5 tits

“To use a technical term, it blew my mind,” said Vancouver’s former chief planner Brent Toderian…”They weren’t lazy about it—they didn’t just throw up barriers and ban cars. It might be the best bargain I’ve ever heard,” Toderian said. #Montreal www.theenergymix.com/montreal-add...

A photographer's dream. I've been photographing at Mono Lake for many years, and never did I expect to get photos like these, I didn't think it was possible. The aurora came and went for only about 15 minutes with that intensity, shifting colors before vanishing. #Aurora #NorthernLights #MonoLake

Fun fact, back in 2018 I led the investigation that exposed this practice by mobile carriers and led to massive fines against them. I’ll continue to watchdog it, but it’s another reason why Congress needs to get it together and pass comprehensive privacy legislation.
Senator Wyden: Could you extend this investigation to (or open a new investigation into) the major mibile phone service providers f I r doing this exact thing. *All of them* are reportedly selling location data from our cell phones, and offering no opt-out. :/

Now that snipers are trained on peaceful students and professors are being hog-tied by masked men with assault rifles, it'd be great to hear from all the people who made "free speech on US campuses" their life's mission every time they met a student with blue hair.

@bsky.app Thank you to whoever implemented this. I was so tired of friends replying "Can't see it." whenever I would send a bluesky link to a private post after feeds went public, and I don't recall having encountered this warning before.

Now that feeds are publicly viewable, Bluesky needs some kind of visual indicator of which accounts/skeets are public and which require a login to view. I've lost track of how many times I've forwarded a bsky link to a friend and they're all, "Can't see it. Don't have an account."

Found in the page source of my local grocer’s website. Dafuq?!

File under “getting old”: “Hey, this non-alcoholic beer isn’t too bad. And only 55 calories!”
End of feed.
