Oh no I was in the presence of this in grad school

I lived in Iceland for a year, it was a rite of passage to have some with brennivín. I think the brennivín was harder for me. Apparently I'm not as badly affected by ammonia compared to a lot of people, despite having a strong sense of smell. (See also: I actually like salmiak.)
