It's really not that dire. Neither candidate is going to aggressively pursue actions that will improve life for average Americans. No, I'm not saying there's no difference. There are plenty of differences and there will be huge differences in the way they govern. (cont)

It has always fallen on us, the people, to make changes for the better. I will say marginalized people will suffer even more under Trump, but they will still suffer moderately under Biden. Both will make them suffer to appease far-right voters, but Democrats make them suffer less. (cont)

It's been that way for decades. Think back to the Bill Clinton administration. The Republican stance was, "Purge all LGBTQ+ people from the military!" And the Democrat policy was, "Don't ask, don't tell." Both policies were harmful, but one was less so. (cont)

I will say if Trump does win, more people will actively fight against his horrible policies, but I think it will be better for everyone if Biden wins. In either case, it will be up to us to fight for change.

“All politics is local”, indeed - we got to do it ourselves. Help from somewhere up above most likely ain’t coming. In blood red amabalA, we only survive by Federal $ so it would be better for us to not have a POTUS who might derail the economy w tariffs & other ridiculousness but…

It was like having my late father complete paperwork in front of a Notary so we could manage his finances, while hoping to God the Notary didn’t call the whole thing off because he would not be able to certify that my father was lucid enough to know what he was signing.
