Oooooh, I’ve got SO many issues with that display… Most of the museum is really good - from a social history perspective - but that diorama kind of nullifies most of what is said in the rest of the museum. It’s such a weird choice!
I think I remember having to cross a dark, ominous gate with written "WAR" on it?
Also, one of the military feats they emphasis is failing to invade Norway and having to carry their dead king Charles XII back through the mountains...
Gotta love an S tank. This is a great report on British trials in 1973. Basically, the Brit crews were lazy, ill-disciplined and most likely pissed throughout the trial 😂
