I just wanted my Tim Hortons as I went through the stress of security patdown, but, no, can't even drink a Canadian cornerstone in line to have me set off the metal detector naked.

We should at least be able to leave our shoes on. One guy in a diaper tries and fails to make a shoe bomb and we’re all taking off our shoes decades later.
That’s just highly irresponsible. I imagine if the door flew off and all those full size bottles of shampoo flew out and fell on the unsuspecting populace below.
How can we be confident that some other as yet unsuspected missing bolt, or electronic bug will not result in tragic consequences?
The FAA surely can do more.
The flying public needs to react.
And some Boeing executives and members of the Board need to go to jail.
