Be right back — tearing the perforated flimsy vinyl record out of Mad Magazine to put on the record player. It has different endings each time you play!!
Reskeet with how old you are, using a vague proxy: Sorry I couldn’t call you, the neighbor used the party line.

Yes! I remember! (I don't know if this is news you can use, but I just found out today that the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge is doing a big exhibit this summer on Mad Magazine art.)

Just seeing photos right now from MAD contributors attending the opening in New York?

Does anyone else remember having Space Food Sticks as a special snack treat?

Yes and I've always wanted to rediscover that weird vaguely tootsie roll texture

Oh, that's it! They were like tootsie rolls. That's probably why I loved them. They had to be weird for that spaceship shelf life!

It really was exciting that we could eat what the astronauts were also eating. We felt so special when mom could afford a box on occasion.

Yes Big disappointment when we finally broke down my mother to buy them.

But the astronauts ate them, Louis! lol

Was advertised that astronaut helmets had a little hole in them to snoot your snack directly into your mouth from the vacuum of space.

In the 80s German comic books (I was partial to “Micky Maus”) often had these flexidisks as “extras” in them.
