I think he became a lame duck as soon as he called the election and it was clear he lost.

Yeah, he’s gonna have to get used to cohabitation, and it seems clear he doesn’t wanna.

But the idea that maybe the party play right against left in order to give Macron more power with whomever wins got shut down within his (named after him personally) party means he doesn't have the juice to control his party and they are looking past him already. True lame duck.
