If we somehow get through this, I like to think that someday there will be real investigative writing about media ownership spring the 2016 and 2020 elections. I have 3 theories, not mutually exclusive: - Corruption (think Panama Papers) - Blackmail (Russian mob? Epstein was working for Mossad?)

- Or (and this is the big one IMO) media ownership really, really hated #metoo and holds such a grudge that they decided cultural liberalism needed to be destroyed even if it meant undermining democracy and ushering in an era of Christo-nationalist fascism.
